The Jammu and Kashmir College students’ Affiliation on Tuesday urged Union Residence Minister Amit Shah and Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha to drop Illegal Actions Prevention Act (UAPA) fees towards seven college college students who allegedly raised objectionable slogans following India’s defeat within the ICC World Cup.
The scholars from the Sher-e-Kashmir College of Agricultural Sciences and Expertise allegedly raised objectionable slogans and celebrated the Indian cricket group’s loss to Australia within the World Cup remaining.

Taking to X, previously Twitter, PDP chief and former J&Okay Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti termed the arrests “surprising” whereas condemning the “ruthless mindset” of the federal government in the direction of children of the Union Territory.
