A stone pelting incident was reported close to Bochiwal Bhawan in Fatehpur Shekhawati, Sikar, in the course of the ongoing Rajasthan meeting elections. Heavy police deployment has been initiated in response to the clashes. In keeping with the police, stone pelting started following a verbal conflict and there was no hindrance triggered to voting by the incident. The police urged locals to forged their votes as safety could be offered for all.
Addressing the stone-pelting incident, Fathepur’s Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Ramprasad knowledgeable ANI, “There was stone pelting amongst some individuals after a verbal conflict. Some individuals have been dispersed, and a few individuals have been detained. We’ll take strict motion. The polling is underway, however this place (of clashes) is away from the polling sales space. There isn’t a hindrance to voting… Those that haven’t forged their vote but ought to go and vote. Safety could be offered for everybody.”
Rajasthan Election 2023: Over 55% Turnout Until 3 PM
Greater than 55% of the voters had forged their votes by 3 pm on Saturday, as per the Election Fee of India. Polling commenced at 7 am in 199 meeting constituencies in Rajasthan.
