New Delhi: Taking a swipe on the BJP MPs over the Parliament safety breach, Congress chief Rahul Gandhi stated those that name themselves patriotic fled when the intruders entered the Lok Sabha. Addressing a gathering at Jantar Mantar throughout a protest over the suspension of fellow Opposition MPs from the Parliament, Rahul Gandhi stated, “Those that name themselves patriotic, hawa nikal gayi unki.”
“A couple of days again, 2-3 individuals jumped down from the guests’ gallery within the Lok Sabha. They entered the Parliament constructing and as quickly as they launched some smoke from the canisters, all of the BJP MPs ran away. They name themselves patriots however we noticed how afraid they had been,” Rahul Gandhi stated on Friday.

“My first query is, how did these folks come inside? They carried fuel cylinders contained in the Parliament. If they may carry that then they may have introduced one thing else too,” the Congress chief stated.
Additional taking potshots on the Centre, Rahul Gandhi identified that the second most necessary query is “why did they (accused) stage a protest?”
He linked the safety lapse with unemployment and asserted that the protesters wished to lift this subject.
Citing a survey, the Congress chief famous that the youth spend roughly 7.5 hours browsing social media on their cell phones, which he stated was on account of unemployment.
Notably, leaders of the Opposition I.N.D.I.A bloc staged a protest beneath the banner ‘Save Democracy’ at Delhi’s Jantar Mantar on Friday. Senior leaders, together with NCP veteran Sharad Pawar, Congress chief Mallikarjun Kharge, Rahul Gandhi, CPI-M’s Sitaram Yechury, and others, had been current on the protest towards the mass suspension of 146 Opposition MPs from Parliament’s Winter Session.
