Punjab on Friday witnessed the present season’s largest spike in farm fires with 587 complete instances being reported throughout the state.
From September 15 until November 1, Punjab has seen 3,537 farm hearth instances, in response to the Punjab Distant Sensing Centre information.
Among the many districts, Sangrur reported 79 instances, Ferozepur noticed 70 farm hearth instances, Tarn Taran 59, Amritsar 40, Bathinda 34, Kapurthala 43, Mansa 47 and Patiala 40.
Fazilka, Rupnagar and Pathankot reported an incident every of farm hearth.
The earlier highest spike of the present season was reported on Thursday with 484 instances, with Sangrur district reporting a most of 89 instances adopted by Ferozepur with 65 instances and Mansa with 40 instances.
Notably, there was a steep bounce in farm hearth incidents in the course of the previous few days.
