Pune Porsche Crash Case: A committee shaped to research the conduct of two Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) members concerning the bail granted to the minor accused within the Pune Porsche crash case has recognized vital procedural lapses, misconduct, and non-compliance with norms, a senior official said on Saturday. The five-member investigative committee offered its findings on Friday to the Girls and Baby Improvement (WCD) division commissioner.
Following the receipt of the report, the WCD division issued notices to the 2 implicated JJB members, who have been appointed by the division. The senior official, requesting anonymity, disclosed this data to information company PTI.
On Could 19, two IT professionals misplaced their lives in Kalyani Nagar after their bike was struck by a dashing Porsche automobile, allegedly pushed by a minor drunk. The case drew nationwide consideration when the JJB granted bail to the accused on notably lenient phrases, which included writing a 300-word essay on street security.

Pune Porsche Crash Case: Present-Trigger Notices Issued To JJB Members
“The report has recognized obvious lapses and errors within the issuance of the bail order by a single JJB member on Could 19. Though the bail order was initially issued by one member, the second member gave their consent the next day. Misconduct and non-compliance with norms have been evident within the actions of each members, and so they have been duly knowledgeable,” the official remarked, as quoted by PTI’s report.
In the middle of its investigation, the WCD-appointed committee recorded statements from each JJB members. The JJB consists of two members appointed by the WCD division and one judiciary member. The committee’s focus was on the state-appointed members, the official clarified, as per the report.
WCD commissioner Dr Prashant Narnavare confirmed the submission of the report by the probe committee. “Present trigger notices have been issued to each JJB members,” he said, including that, “The 2 members have been requested to furnish their replies inside the subsequent 4 to 5 days.”
