Delhi Minister and Aam Aadmi Celebration (AAP) chief Saurabh Bharadwaj criticised the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) transfer requesting permission from the Union authorities to file a First Data Report (FIR) towards former Delhi jail minister Satyendar Jain and former Director Normal of Prisons Sandeep Goel for his or her alleged involvement in extorting crores of rupees from high-profile prisoners.
The request for sanction towards Jain and jail officer Raj Kumar was despatched to the Lieutenant Governor’s workplace, whereas for suspended IPS Goel and retired IAS Mukesh Prasad, the CBI has approached the Union Residence Ministry, information company PTI reported.
