Maharashtra Election 2024: The Nationalist Congress Social gathering (NCP) led by Sharad Pawar on Saturday launched its second checklist of candidates for the upcoming Maharashtra Meeting elections. The get together has named 22 candidates on this new checklist. The announcement was made by Maharashtra State President of the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), Jayant Patil who said, “To date I’ve introduced the names of 67 candidates and we are going to win in all of the locations.”

Relating to the seat-sharing association inside the Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA), which contains the NCP (Sharad Pawar faction), Congress, and Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray faction), Jayant Patil remarked, “There can be no conferences now. Discussions are being held over the telephone and in keeping with that (candidates for) extra seats can be introduced.”
“The discussions are principally over, it could take a day or so for talks to conclude. All (Congress, Shiv Sena, and NCP-SC) are contesting round 90 seats, there can be two-three seats kind of, so what Balasaheb Thorat has mentioned is right,” he added.

Maharashtra Election 2024: Shiv Sena UBT Pronounces 3 Extra Candidates
In the meantime, the Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) introduced three extra candidates for the meeting polls. The get together’s new checklist consists of Haroon Khan from Versova, Sanjay Bhalerao from Ghatkopar West, and Sandeep Naik from Vile Parle.

As of Friday night, a complete of 991 candidates filed their nomination papers for the Maharashtra Meeting elections scheduled for twentieth November, officers confirmed, as per information company PTI. Deputy Chief Minister and BJP chief Devendra Fadnavis filed his nomination from the Nagpur South-West constituency, whereas Mumbai BJP chief Ashish Shelar submitted his papers for the Bandra West seat.

The nomination submitting course of started on twenty second October, with twenty ninth October being the final date for submission. The scrutiny of nominations is about for thirtieth October, and candidates can withdraw their nominations till 4th November. The counting of votes will happen on twenty third November.
