The ruling Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) launched its fifth record of candidates for the upcoming Jharkhand meeting elections on Friday, naming Lois Marandi, a former BJP legislator, as its nominee from the Jama seat. The Jharkhand meeting elections will likely be held in two phases on November 13 and 20, with the counting of votes scheduled for November 23. Submitting of nomination papers for the primary part, masking 43 constituencies, started on Friday and can proceed till October 25.
