The bench, additionally comprising Judicial Member Justice Sudhir Agarwal and Professional Member A Senthil Vel, stated the E-Waste (Administration) Guidelines, 2022, had been enforced on April 1, 2023, and assigned accountability to the CPCB for taking motion in opposition to violations.
The CPCB additionally needed to conduct random checks to make sure compliance with the foundations, conduct coaching and consciousness programmes and implement provisions to scale back the usage of hazardous substances within the manufacturing {of electrical} and digital gear, it stated.
