New Delhi: A day after the Republic Day celebrations, an enormous safety breach occurred on the Delhi airport as an intruder entered the airfield. The safety breach on the Indira Gandhi Worldwide Airport in Delhi on January 27 raised considerations and prompted the authorities to promptly improve safety measures to deal with the scenario.
“An Air India pilot reported to air visitors controllers (ATC) round 11.30 pm {that a} man had crossed in entrance of the plane throughout taxing. ATC promptly alerted the Airport Operation Management Centre (AOCC), resulting in swift motion by CISF, who apprehended the intruder and handed over to native police,” a senior airport official advised information company ANI.
The accused was produced within the court docket and was despatched to judicial custody. “Major investigation revealed that the accused is a drug addict and hails from Haryana’s Nuh district,” ANI quoted Delhi Police as saying.
