The Madhya Pradesh Congress has lashed out on the Bharatiya Janata Social gathering (BJP) for eradicating a portrait of former prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru within the state meeting. The Congress leaders criticised the ruling celebration after a photograph of former Regulation minister Bhimrao Ambedkar was positioned within the meeting changing Nehru’s portrait, information company ANI reported. Jaivardhan Singh, a Congress chief and son of former chief minister Digvijaya Singh, expressed disappointment over the incident and vowed to deal with the matter with Protem Speaker Gopal Bhargava.
Jaivardhan Singh remarked, “It’s regrettable to take away Jawaharlal Nehru’s picture from the Home. The muse of Indian democracy is powerful due to Jawaharlal Nehru. BJP or whoever has eliminated Nehru’s picture is fallacious. I’ll talk about it with the Protem Speaker”, as quoted by ANI.
Umang Singhar, the Chief of the Opposition, alleged that the BJP would additional substitute Ambedkar’s picture with that of Nathuram Godse within the coming days. In keeping with ANI, Singhar emphasised, “What’s necessary is that their (BJP) effort is to remove his (Nehru) ideas”.

MP Protem Speaker Denies Issuing Directive For Eradicating Nehru’s Photograph From Meeting
In response to those allegations, Protem Speaker Gopal Bhargava clarified that the adjustments had occurred over the last tenure, and he had not issued any latest directions on the matter. “Nehru and Ambedkar are supreme leaders, there may be equal respect for all. The difficulty will probably be despatched to a particular committee within the secretariat of the Meeting, after which we’ll act in response to the choice,” Bhargava said.
Deputy Chief Minister Rajendra Shukla defended the set up of Ambedkar’s picture and advised that Nehru’s image could be positioned at an acceptable location. “Congress shouldn’t discuss like this about it. The secretariat will resolve to position Nehru’s picture at an acceptable place,” Shukla advised ANI.
In keeping with a report by the Indian Categorical, Authorities officers mentioned that Nehru’s portrait had been taken down attributable to its poor situation. Subsequently, it was determined to position a portrait of Ambedkar at that spot.
Expressing concern, Congress MLA Rajendra Bharti criticised the removing of Nehru’s picture, stating, “Each Nehru and Ambedkar are highly-respected leaders, their portraits ought to have been displayed within the meeting. It’s fallacious to take away Jawaharlal Nehru’s picture. The best way the Bharatiya Janata Social gathering is considering now, it appears that evidently they (BJP) will take away the photographs of each the nice males and substitute them with Godse’s picture sooner or later.”
Bharatiya Adivasi Social gathering MLA Kamleshwar Dodiyar echoed comparable sentiments, asserting that the removing of Nehru’s picture was fallacious. “If Nehru’s picture has been eliminated, then I’ll discuss to the Speaker.
