New Delhi: Air Marshal Tejinder Singh on Sunday took over as Deputy Chief of the Air Workers of the Indian Air Drive, the Defence Ministry stated.
After taking cost on the Air Headquarters (Vayu Bhawan), the Air Marshal paid homage to the bravehearts, who made the supreme sacrifice, by laying wreath on the Nationwide Struggle Memorial right here.
An alumnus of the Nationwide Defence Academy, Air Marshal Singh was commissioned within the fighter stream of the Indian Air Drive (IAF) on June 13, 1987.
He’s a Class ‘A’ Certified Flying Teacher with over 4,500 hours of flying and an alumnus of the Defence Service Workers School and Nationwide Defence School, the ministry stated in an announcement.
He has commanded a fighter squadron, a radar station, a premier fighter base and was the Air Officer Commanding, Jammu and Kashmir.
“His diverse employees appointments embody Operational Workers at a Command HQ, Air Commodore (Personnel Officers-1) at Air HQ, Deputy Assistant Chief of Built-in Defence Workers, Monetary (Planning) at HQ IDS, Air Commodore (Aerospace Security), Assistant Chief of Air Workers Operations (Offensive) and ACAS Ops (Technique) at Air HQ,” the assertion stated.
Previous to his current appointment, he was the Senior Air Workers Officer, HQ Jap Air Command of the IAF at Shillong, Meghalaya.
In recognition of his meritorious providers, he was awarded the Vayu Sena Medal in 2007 and the Ati Vishist Seva Medal in 2022 by the President of India, it stated.
