Kolkata, Aug 26 (PTI) The march to state secretariat Nabanna on Tuesday wouldn’t inconvenience candidates of UGC-NET because the examination can be held in two shifts, organiser Chatra Samaj claimed.
The UGC-NET, which is used to find out eligibility for appointment as assistant professors in schools and universities in addition to junior analysis fellowship (JRF), might be held in two classes — from 9.30 am to 12.30 pm and from 3 pm to six pm.
Chatra Samaj spokesperson Sayan Lahiri stated, “Our non-violent democratic protest won’t have an effect on the candidates. Because the exams might be held in two classes, the candidates will hopefully not face any issue if they seem within the first session.” He stated the exams can even be held on August 28, the inspiration day of TMC’s college students’ wing.
