Prime Minister Narendra Modi arrived in Kyiv on Friday after travelling from Poland, marking the primary go to by an Indian Prime Minister to Ukraine since its independence from the Soviet Union in 1991. Modi’s day-long historic go to consists of conferences with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and a tour of key areas. Upon reaching Kyiv Central Station after a 10-hour practice journey from Poland, Modi was welcomed by Ukrainian officers. He first visited the Ukraine Nationwide Museum to honour kids who died because of the Russian invasion. Modi then proceeded to AV Fomin Botanical Backyard to pay tribute on the bronze statue of Mahatma Gandhi. This go to underscores India’s engagement with Ukraine amid ongoing battle.
