A cabin crew member of an Air India flight was assaulted by an intruder in her London resort room earlier this week after which the assaulter was nabbed. The younger girl, who suffered bruises, was taken to hospital and is now again in India the place she is being counselled.
The incident befell shortly after midnight at Radisson Lodge London Heathrow the place evening crew members of a number of AI flights have been staying.
The air hostess was sleeping when an intruder attacked her in her room at 1:30 am, reported the Instances of India, quoting sources. The startled air hostess wakened and screamed for assist which was heard by her colleagues who rapidly gathered.

The assaulter attacked the lady with a fabric hanger and dragged her on the ground as she tried to flee in direction of the door. The attacker tried to run away as different crew members from adjoining rooms, alerted by the lady’s scream, gathered and the intruder was ultimately nabbed.
The police have been referred to as and he or she was taken to a hospital. She couldn’t fly again on obligation and a buddy from the crew stayed again along with her.
The intruder has been arrested and he is perhaps a homeless one that walked into the resort and managed to enter the room, the report acknowledged.

Confirming the incident, a spokesperson from Air India stated: “We’re deeply anguished by an illegal incident of intrusion at a resort, operated by a significant worldwide chain, that affected certainly one of our crew members.”
The spokesperson stated that every one potential help is being prolonged to the crew member and the broader staff together with skilled counselling.
“Air India can also be working with the native police to pursue the matter to the fullest extent of the legislation, and with the resort administration to make sure such incidents are usually not repeated,” stated the spokesperson.
