Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, addressing a crowd throughout a roadshow in Delhi on Sunday, made a plea to the citizens, asserting {that a} vote for the Aam Aadmi Social gathering (AAP) would stop his return to jail. The occasion, held in Moti Nagar, witnessed the presence of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, as they rallied in help of Somnath Bharti, AAP’s candidate for the New Delhi Lok Sabha seat. Kejriwal, at present out on interim bail till June 1 with a looming give up date of June 2, accused the Bharatiya Janata Social gathering (BJP) of orchestrating his incarceration, alleging that his imprisonment was a consequence of his dedication to public service. “They despatched me to jail as a result of I labored for you. The BJP doesn’t need that the work of Delhi folks is finished,” he stated.
