5 people have been booked in Pune, Maharashtra, for stuffing samosas meant for an vehicle agency’s canteen with condoms, gutka and stones, in a weird plot allegedly aimed toward undermining a contractor.
Three of the accused are companions in SRA Enterprises, which misplaced its canteen contract with the auto agency after a bandage was allegedly present in a samosa it equipped, a police officer was quoted as saying in a PTI report.
The auto agency, the officer stated, subsequently employed Catalyst Service Options Pvt Ltd for supplying the snack, and this work was additional outsourced to a subcontractor named Manohar Enterprises.
The samosas filled with condoms, gutka and stones had been found by staff Saturday.
When staffers of Manohar Enterprises had been questioned, police found that the incident was the handiwork of two staff, recognized by the aforementioned officer as Firoz Shaikh and Vicky Shaikh.
“The 2 accused instructed us they’re staff of SRA Enterprises and had been despatched by its companions to Manohar Enterprises to adulterate meals equipped by the latter,” the officer stated.
The companions have been recognized as Rahim Shaikh, Azhar Shaikh, and Majhar Shaikh.
