Two earthquakes of delicate depth hit Ladakh and Jammu Kashmir within the early hours of Tuesday, mentioned the officers, including there have been no fast studies of any injury as a result of tremors, reported PTI.
The epicentre of the 2 quakes have been positioned in Ladakh’s Leh district and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district, they added.
The earthquake that hit Ladakh was measured 4.5 on the Richter scale and occurred at 4:33 am, as per the Nationwide Centre of Seismology (NCS). The depth of the earthquake was 5 kilometers under the floor of the earth at 34.73 levels latitude and 77.07 levels longitude, it mentioned.
Residents in Kargil and Leh districts have been woke up by the tremor however the police mentioned there was no report of any injury from anyplace.
At round 1:10 am on Tuesday, an earthquake of magnitude 3.7 on the Richter scale shook Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district.
